The Unisto Data Trans app is available in the Google Play Store. Or via the link.

As of production, the date 1.01.1970 is stored in the e-Guard. To update the date, the e-Guard Data Trans must be connected to a smart device via the app. The e-Guard Data Trans then takes over the date and time.

To establish a Bluetooth connection between the smart device and e-Guard Data Trans, the app “Unisto Data Trans” is required.
Also make sure that your smart device has Bluetooth enabled and allows pairing.

Over the years it is theoretically possible, but the probability is extremely low (0.01%).
When the e-Guard generates a new number, it checks the last 500 sealings for duplicates.

It depends on the circumstances (temperature, usage), but the battery should last 3 years.
When the battery is empty, you can easily replace it yourself with a replacement battery from Unisto.

After the e-Guard displays LowBat for the first time, you have 8 weeks to replace the battery.
To ensure the reliability of your sealing process, we recommend replacing the battery within these 8 weeks.

At the moment there is only the attachment via metal cradle but we are continuously working on new solutions. Contact your local salesperson to find out about the current status.

As an international manufacturer of security seals, Unisto takes a lot of effort in reducing the impact of its activities on the world.
Please do not dispose of end-of-life lithium powered Unisto e-Guard together with your regular household or business waste. Please take them to appropriate WEEE compliant
electrical recycling centres or to designated battery and small electricals drop-off sites in your community.

Please make sure you take into account the regulations for shipping lithium ion batteries when returning the e-Guard.
